Postnatal Depression – July 2024

Pregnancy and the birth of a new baby are often seen as times of great excitement and joy. However, there are many other feelings and emotions which can be a part of this life stage which may be more difficult to accept within ourselves. My years of being a parent, working with children in nurseries and schools, community groups and family support has been a real learning curve and continues to be as I work as a counsellor.
